He can certainly be taken to court and sued and then it is up to the judge whether to put you in jail, normally not though.

in many cases you will get the hot card till now the tip of the month wherein the old card expires. you will discover out precisely by utilising calling the customer provider form on the returned of the cardboard, and ask them what their timing is for procuring out the renewals. meanwhile, you are going to be preparing a itemizing of the bills and websites the place you have this used, so which you be responsive to who you may desire to notify of the hot expiration date as quickly as you get it. which will ward off absolutely everyone from attempting to apply the old date and having it rejected if the timing is tight.

Jail? Not unless you live in Iran or Saudi Arabi --civlized countries dont jail people for civil debts. If you dont pay it, it goes into collection and hurts your credit score. Sometimes severely.

(I'll letcha know next month! LOL!)

First they have fines and APR increases, then they have phone calls, then collection agencies. I don't know if there's any such thing as "debtor's prison", but you'd probably have to owe an awful lot for them to get lawyers to battle you. Just send them SOMETHING, they'll usually work something out if you talk to them.
