I have had 3 mollies now give birth, but for some reason 2 or 3 days later they have all died. They act healthy afterwards, and then when I turn on the light in the morning they are dead. The rest of my fish are healthy and their fry is healthy. I feel bad, and if it keeps happening I am going to have remove my 2 males to a smaller tank, but I really don't want to.

Stress from giving birth can kill a female fish and sometimes it can take a few days for that to happen. More likely I would suggest that the increased number of fish in the tank is causing water quality issues. Be very sure to do generous water changes every 2-3 days for a few weeks when you have new fry.

It could be a number of things poor water quality, and/or poor nutrition come to mind. Mollies are very stressed after giving birth, and things that mind not have caused death can kill them. I'd 1st check your nitrate levels ideally they should be very low. (below 20 ppm) Also what are you feeding the molly. Molly are omnivores, and need a fair amount of veggies. Females also need a lot of protein when the are pregnant. I recommend a mix of algae flakes, and freeze dried brine shrimp.

Did you take them out of their tank and put them in another tank? If so, their may be water condition problems in the tank they are dieing in. Mollies are very sensitive to water conditions. Even a 1 degree difference in the water temp from one tank to another will stress them enough to kill them.
