Former Lover,

Just like this paper, my mind was blank except for your name and a pause...
And now this paper and my mind are filling up the vacannt lines
And instead of my mind asying to my mind "What are you goinng to write Haz?",
It, with its archeological-like tools (this writings) discovered a wonderful find:

As we dig and/or write with vague expectation we find to our large or little suprise
What thing we are the most like
Though it may just be "our" creation
Or some filling of few vacant lines...
Or futile things we write...

Your poem was spot on. As they say sincerity is the enemy of good art. You wrote well about surprise and discovery. A treasure coming out of idle thought. Sorry not very good at critiquing. Your poem put me in a pleasant mood and I wished I could have managed something like it, but my verses are mostly doggerel.
I am not fishing for points. Run a lie detector over me.

For me a poem has to have rhythm. It would not unavoidably could rhyme in spite of the undeniable fact that it needs to hit my thoughts. i think of readability of expression is substantial besides. i do no longer desire to 2nd wager what i'm interpreting approximately. I consistently seek for what I term "poetic gem stones"interior the text cloth.

That's not a poem. It's a note to the milkman. Read the greats to see how it is really done.

Boring - 1/10 for effort.
