two sheets of glass with an air space between them. the space is filled with a vacume or some kind of gas, that keeps cold air from coming through the second peice of glass.

Well nothing to do with computers...

These are windows with two physical sheets of glass seperated by a small gap. The gap is often filled with a gas. These help keep cool in during the winter and heat out during the summer.
