Had period Feb 3rd. Ovulation test said positive 17th and morning of 18th and then went negative afternoon of 18th. Is it more likely that I ovulated the 18th or since the egg survives 23-36 hours after ovulation could it have been the 19th or 20th? I took an Aimstick pregnancy test today and it is negative. Is it still too early? I thought I should get my period the 3rd or 4th but if I ovulated 19th or 20th would it come later? It seems with one of the early test whoch aimstick claims to be I should get a positive result by now right?

Best guess would be that you O'd on the 19th. Period usually comes 14 days later so about March 5th. So you are 10 days past ovulation--even the most sensitive test is only about 53% accurate now, so no, only about half of pregnant women would get a pos. by now. Wait a few more days if you possibly can.

Wow! My period started Feb. 3 too and my ovulation test was positive on Feb.19! So we are pretty much in sync here, aren't we? I think it may have been too early for your test. I haven't tested yet. (I also have Aimstick brand tests!) You probably ovulated on the 19th, so I would test again around Mar. 5 because that would put you at two weeks past ovulation. Not many people would get a positve at only 10 DPO even if they are pregnant. Good luck!

The results from your ovulation kit mean that ovulation was done by the afternoon of the 18th. The egg may survive that long, but it has to be fertilized while it is in the fallopian tube or it won't implant. That is why you have to have sex right before ovulation. I don' t know if the pregnancy test would show positive already, so wait for another week and retest.

not all early pregnancy tests actually show anything early, I was still getting very faint lines a week after I had missed my period which in theory should have been really strong by that time. Also; your hormone levels might not be that high, which is nothing to worry about, but a test cant detect low levels. Wait until the latest time you think you might be due to come on and then take a hpt.

Good luck!

hazard is which you're no longer pregnant. Sperm are maximum energetic for the 1st 24 hours. sturdy swimmers will final for 40 8 hours. in case you had intercourse greater desirable than 40 8 hours in the previous you started ovulation, the prospect that there replaced into any sperm nevertheless alive is extremely distant- no longer impossible, yet distant. As on your cramps being a trademark the two way? i does no longer have confidence in them for any solutions. our bodies can produce any feeling for any reason, and in case you're under pressure approximately being pregnant your physique's reaction could desire to be completely psychosomatic.
