I was in a head on collisin 3 years ago and cut my scalp on the windshield. I did not puncture the skull but I get horrible pains in my head and have lost portions of my memory. I don't have insurance to get it checked and would like to know if there could be something semi-seriously wrong?

Yes, there could be something seriously wrong. You may also just be prone to headaches. You should visit a local hospital or doctors office. As for no insurance, dont worry. There are programs through the government and hospital / doctors office's that will help you pay for the treatment you need. Honestly it could be your life for a few hunderd or thousand dollars.

You should have that checked out, this could be a very serious problem. I don't want to scare you, but there have been none cases when someone have hit their head and years later developed a tumor. If I was you, I would fine someway to see a doctor and get a Cat-Scan.

Horrible pains is not good. I would suggest you get to a doctor. The consequences of not doing so, even without insurance, could be worse.
