where the girl loves a man who is involved in another relationship, she suffers in silence but later on in the film he realizes he loves her and gets married to her eventually :)

I think the wedding planner with Jennifer Lopez is like that. I'm not sure if they got married at the end as I gave up on it half way through. Not a stunning reccomendation I know but its the only one I can think of at the moment.
