Roofs can be repaired depending on damage caused and location of damage. As her car was hit by a rock, there is a chance that the paintwork will be damaged. What you can do to save money is get a dent repair company to look at it and if it canbe done u will get it done for around £100 or may be less.

Then u can call in the scratch repair guys in and they might be able to paint the damage for around the same money.

Umay be lucky and strike a deal with a company that does it all, body, paint etc.

It all depends on how deep the dent is and where it is exactly there's a lot of ways to repair dents, but if you've never done it before you might want to have it looked at by a garage. It really is something you should have looked at. If it's not expensive to fix or is bothersome to the driver you should go ahead and get it fixed anyways, but if you decide not to fix it you should make sure you do somethin to prevent rusting from the paint being crack and chipped. Hope I helped! :D

as long as their are no holes, jagged edges or bits falling off you are fine especially on the roof, it want be a problem, obviously will not look nice on top, but the roof of the car is single skin, as they say in the trade, and inside the car, the roof, a thin skin of sponge and cloth cover is attached, so if you feel strong just give the inside of the roof a good bang where the dent is and try to pup some of it out, good luck my friend ta ta for now.

MIght be possible for an engineer to fix it easily with a magnet. If not it might be fixed by a qualified enginneer cheaper than you anticipate. The most expensive bit is the resprsying of the entire roof.It really all depends on the quality of the work you will be satisfied with. The magnet if it works costs very little.

Take it to a body repair shop. No, better still take it to a few - last time I had to get some bodywork repaired I had quotes from £150 to £1,000.
