lol... okay you can do both... when i got pregnant i told the doctor i shouldnt be i only had sex right after my period and she smiled and said honey you can ouvlate whenever.... so if you are trying to get pregnant they do sell things to test yourself when you are ouvlating.... good luck

Everyone is different. If you have a normal cycle (average, rather) of 28 days then 14 days is suppose to be the average time. But, I swear when I got pregnant with my son that it was closer to 10 days or so (right after period).
We are TTC right now and I'm planning on using ovulation tests this time b/c I really think I ovulate sooner than day 14.

Your cycle looks something like this:
Day 1 is the first day of your period.

Typically your cycle is 28 days long. Day one is the first day of your period. Day 14 is the day you ovulate or around there. To get an accurate reading you can get at home ovulation tests. With those you start peeing on them around day 10 that way if you are early with your ovulation you will be able to know. Hope this helps.
