Anything to helps ease the 'stretching' will work.
I took the advice of my mother and grandmother and used coco butter. I've had 2 children (first was 10lbs 10oz and 22 inches) and (second was 8lbs 8oz and 20inches) and I don't have a but a couple tiny stretch marks. I've heard also that heredity will play a factor, which my mother and grandmother also had minimal stretchmarks.

I've been using the cocoa butter stuff and it seems to work okay. You can buy it anywhere-it's meant for stretch marks, but it mostly helps keep your skin nice and moist-soft too, to help with the stretching that it will occur. I know that vitamin E oil is supposed to help as well. There's so much stuff you can put on it, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.

drink lots of water at spaced out intervals during the day. carry a big bottle around with you. if you drink lots at once it will end up washing out all your vitamins
apply the coca butter (helps reduce the scars from stretch marks) or vaseline at night so you wont have to go round with it all day and rub it in well
congratulations

I don't ever recommend Vaseline it is a Petro-chemical! Use olive oil and rub it in really well and also hydrate your body from the inside, drink 1 quart for every 50lbs of body weight if you can that's the ideal in the natural health circles...

Lotions help better than vaseline. I never heard of that one before. Your stomach doesn't start growing tho for a couple months. I just started showing my 4th month. Good luck.

Shea butter and Palmer's Pregnancy lotion. I applied it 2 times a day and my stretch marks are Very light and very few. They only show up when I tan, and they are on my boobs. My Dr. Told me that the boobs are prone to them. But maybe he was trying to make me feel better.
