Well, I'm 15 and I had to save for a Wii. (PS: most of the time I bash Sony and Playstation 3, so be grateful I'm not doing so today) What I did was I pooled together all possible funds and added them together. Now, I have 40+ relatives, and I barely came up with the $250, so I have no idea how you're gonna get $1000 without a job. SO. Without a job, It will probably take about 3 years to earn that much. I added birthday money, money from work, money from odd jobs I did in the summer, allowances, and the general kindness of total strangers to get Wii. I recommend getting an odd job, like mowing the neighbor lady's lawn or raking the next door neighbor's leaves.

Well, you're not exactly going to get anywhere without earning any money to do it. If your parents let you get a job,,,,get ur butt out there and work...In the end, you'll feel good and you at least have some money...Oh, and if you want 2 buy a ps3, the magic word is SAVE.

yeah I feel sorry for you too... it sucks being thirteen and wanting to earn money, well, depends on your talents, like I sculpted a clay scupture and sold it for $7 but only once... and I raked lawns once with my sister got $100 from that in the winter, and this one time I worked for my mom to earn up to an GBASP, for every hour I worked, I got a dollar (she would hold it, not give it to and I was 10 so I didn't know about economics that much...)and if the job was "hard" I got $2 so I eventually earned up $115 and GBASP went to $80, so I ended only spending $110, so my mom still owes me five bucks (but through out my entire life I owe her millions for taking care of me, listinging to my boring talks ect.) so, there's lots of stuff to do, I'm also trying to find a job... just look at your possibilities, and you could probably email and I would probably give you some good ideas, a lot of it depends on your location too well I hope this helped!

Theres not many ways you can raise money without a job. Erm.. how about helping round the house and your parents can give you extra pocket money or wait untill your birthday.

ask for it for your birthday instead! Or charge your parents or any brothers and sisters to do jobs for them, do babysitting or dog walking, get a paper round (come on that's hardly a proper job), ask for more pocket money, don't buy anything for ages, sell some stuff on ebay or something. Hope I helped : )

You don't "need" the money or the ps3.
Get a job and earn it, you will enjoy it more that way.

If you go through life with this attitude you will find things very difficult indeed.
I hope your Parents are unaware of this question because they, I hope, have better ways of seeing this in the correct light.
Workshy people annoy me greatly and you are heading that way yourself.
Wake up to the real world and bear in mind it does not owe you a living.
