I am a fairly religious person and all of the people in my life are of different religions. I do not dress in style, but it has NOTHING to do with religion, it is mainly because I cannot afford to buy new things right now. Sometimes I feel like people make fun of me because I am religious and they think that is the reason I do not dress in style, also, these people are the same religion as me (but not as religious.) I feel bad because I want to stay religious but I also don't want people to make fun of me, what should I do?
Also, I have tried ignoring the comments but it's very hard when I hear them all the time and sometimes they are rubbed in my face.

Ask them how your private religious feelings affect them - what do they care? Tell them to mind their own business. As far as not being able to afford to dress in style, I can't afford to buy new clothes either. Try going to thrift stores like Goodwill - with some patience and creativity you can get whole new outfits there for less than $10.

all ppl are making fun of ppl who are better than them the knowlge the brilliant the respecatful ..... do u think if u made what ppl do now days will make u more happy the answer is no ...so just be ur self u will find someone respect who u are .....i am like u but i dont care what ppl say because i am convinced in who am i also sometimes i like ppl doing that because i feel im special really trust me u will find many ppl wants u because of that when u grow up ....good luck

the people who are making fun of you are ignorant. you can bet they do not go to church or have any christian morals. Pray about these people. They are the work of the devil. People who aren't Christians will never understand the joy Christians do. They will never understand that making fun of people is totally uncalled for. Never let them make you be ashamed of your religious beliefs.

I'd much rather be in your shoes than they. Don't pay them any mind. Obviously they can't have much of anything worthwhile in their lives to keep them occupied. I'm a guy but I have been out of style most all of my life. It never harmed me in any way that I know. Keep your faith. That is the most important thing in your life. Don't worry. Accept your suffering and offer it to god. I am religious as well. Besides atheists are dumb anyways. Do not leave your religion. Unless it is Satanist or something like that.
