agree with you that the mars one is great & the insurance one is terrible.
i quite like the nivea one with people all over the world using nivea.
hate the bounty kitchen paper ones with blokes dressed up as women. urgh. makes me cringe.
just thought of some really good ads- the sony or panasonic ones. the first one was with loads of coloured balls, the second one with brightly coloured paint bombs, pure genius.
good question. bravo.

I hate all ads where people shout at you as though you're a moron - Cillit Bang is worst.
Ans I loathe those stupid norwich union ads where everything's yellow. THE SOUNDTRACK IS SO IRRITATING! I have to mute it!
As a group, loans and cosmetics are worst. The loan ones tell you how you could get a new car while an asterisk tells you you'll probably lose your house and have to pay back £60,000 when you only borrowed £20,000. The cosmetic ones are just daft - some woman who's supposed to be famous but you've ner heard of tells you how some made up chemical compond will make you ten years younger in a big to get you to pay £20 for a tub of perfumed aqueous cream. Come on people! They're both scams!

I'm an advertising student, so I have a particularly strong view on this.
Best tv ad at the moment are Honda - most creative traditional ads around.
My favourite ever ad is for the Scottish Lager, Tennents. It's a very old ad but was instrumental in Tennents renewed success in Scotland at the time. It featured the song 'Caledonia' by Dougie Mclean and told the story of a Scottish bloe returning to Scotland after working in London...truly sublime.
In saying that, the best ads just now are not on TV, most are viral. Remember that Sony Bravia 'bouncing balls' ad. Quality, admittedly, but the spoof on the internet by Tango was 100x better.
I could go on for hours...

I hate the convenience commercials, with the creepy lively human beings. I additionally hate the Suzuki speedy one - likle Ronaldo might roll up in a speedy...? a undeniable type of contempt ought to be reserved for Howard from the Halifax and that i might desire to pummel the Frosties youngster to interior an inch of his existence. i absolutely hate any advert that mentions or contains ccjs, low credit rating, sheilas wheels, trips or falls that werent your fault, howard the halifax guy and michael winner.
i also hate the orange ad with the clockwork things . the ad actually isnt too bad but i end up singing 'let me call, you sweetheart' in a ridiculously deep voice for about half and hour which is irritating in itself.
im not sure which ad i like at the moment-i always think beer ads are the best like guiness, carlsberg.

My fav is the Barrs Iru Bru ads with Raull trying to act hip to get the girls the best one is the one where he dances and they throw ice cubes and he slips funny every time. I hate the home loan adverts its never that easy to get a big loan

Hate the Yakult one...makes me want to yak...old dr whatever
.and all those supposedly healthy food ones....is it special k where they are all at that health farm and not eating!!!
The phone ones get on my nerves...especially the one where he falls backwards
like the rubber floor one but can't remeber the beer
like a lot of the car ones, the glasgow one, and is the megane one the one with the bloke comparing things.
can't you tell i hardly watch them and don't pay much attention to the product.....advertisers nightmare
