I'm 21 weeks pregnant and it seems like in the last week my belly has grown like overnight. You can definitely tell I'm pregnant now, but does it really happen that fast?

Mine definitely did. You couldn't even tell I was pregnant when I was about 25 weeks, and then my belly just EXPLODED! Literally overnight, my husband was like, "Whoa!" And now, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I just slowly and slowly get bigger and bigger.
So yes, in answer to your question, I think you hit one MAJOR belly growth spurt, and then it's more gradual.

It happened to me as well! I went on a trip when I was 5 months just gone for a few days and when I came back I had a pregnant belly before that you couldn't even tell! I know that the last two months you gradually grow more and more! Good luck!

It seemed like that happened to me as well. I didn't start to show til about 22 weeks, im a little on the bigger side. Then all the sudden one day my pants didnt fit, i was huge overnight it really seemed. I guess that is kind of how it goes. Congrats on the upcoming baby.

lol yes, i remember at 7 and a half months pregnant i didnt look pregnant, and it was soooo annoying (i always wanted a huge belly) and then all the sudden its like i woke up with a belly, and stretch marks, but hey, i got my belly now, and it figures, im due in 12 days, so i dont much get to enjoy it, its like it gets bigger as you go

i was the same exact way. I would brag to everyone that i was still tiny and was 5 months pregnant. and then bam!!! my stomache got huge!!! i was like holy sh*t!! and then my booty started all of a sudden. It really does seem like it all happens at once. Not little by little!! But your growth spurt hasnt even happened yet. Wait till your in 8th month! thats when your blly grows!! good luck

Perfectly normal! All four of my pregnancies I went from not looking pregnant to looking VERY pregnant almost over night at about 5 months or so lol.

it seems like it huh. i don't think it really just happens overnight but the baby does begin to grow rapidly.i know i have significant belly growth week to week now (i'm 30 and1/2 weeks)good luck.

It did for me! you really couldn't tell I was pregnant one day and then the next I looked like I swallowed a watermelon! Congrats on your pregnancy!
