Probably not. Two months is not a long time to try. Resist the urge to blame yourself if you do not become pregnant immediately...mothers are so hard on themselves! *hug*

Abortions are an evasive proceedure to rid your body of something it naturally wanted to have. Anytime you do anything so tramatic to normal healthy tissue, you are risking the health of that tissue. If you body didnt naturally abort this baby and you had a doctor go in there and scoop out that baby, there is chances of damage to the uterus no matter how good the doctor was or not. Scarring and tissue left inside of the uterine walls can cause a difficult implantation in subsequent pregnancies. I am very suprised your doc put you on fertility drugs after only trying for 2 months, but on that note, its only been 2 months, thats a short period of time trying. After my 2 miscarriages and 1 stillbirth I was finally granted fertility drugs, and after not getting pregnant in years i quit trying. I got a divorce and a new boyfriend and now I have a healthy happy baby girl. I dont think abortion is always the cause of secondary infertility, i hope you thought out that proceedure and did it for the good of the baby and you. Though I could never have it done i dont think its a bad thing if it compromises the health or future of both involved. Now that your ready for the next you just need to relax and Im sure it will happen.

"Once you discontinue the use of birth control, and try to become pregnant:
25% in the first month
60% in six months
75% in nine months
80% in twelve months
90% in eighteen months"
2 months isn't very long, and abortion has about 1% chance of causing infertility if it was done in the first trimester. I had an abortion 4 years ago, I've had a D&C as recently as 8 months ago for a blighted ovum, and now 14w5d pregnant with twins which took 3 months to conceive.
Give yourself some time! Be prepared for it to take up to a year and don't give up trying.

Will having an abortion prevent me from having children in the future?
There is no statistical correlation between abortion and fertility problems later. This means that your chances of being able to conceive and carry a pregnancy to term are not altered by having an abortion. Fertility is challenged by advancing age, pelvic infections, endometriosis, and various factors affecting men and women.
Of course, as with any outpatient surgery, much of your recovery is in your control. Taking all your medications, following instructions, and returning for your follow-up examination support healthy recovery. If you are concerned about this risk, do not hesitate to ask your provider about it and they will be able to answer your questions more specifically. Well, it can cause difficulties, but at only 2 months, I wouldn't worry yet, it took me three months with no abortion, or fertility aid and everyone said that was pretty fast. My best friend has been trying for five years.

Yes, it's possible - but not overly likely.
Sometime abortion can result in injury or scarring, though this is not very common.
Your main problem could be stress. Stress and worry can make your body do crazy things - including changing the cycle of ovulation. 2 months is not a long time to be trying. Relax and let it happen. Track your cycle, calculate ovulation, but tell yourself that you will not worry for at least 6 months... then don't.
It will likely happen when you are relaxed.

OH it very well could have. Abortion can destroy the lining of your uterus and make it impossible for a fertilized egg to implant. Maybe before you took a life away you should have weighed the consequences of your selfish actions. I am too prolife to answer any further .. very sorry
Edited to add a lady above stated there is no correlation between abortion and inferility .. here are some RISKS with abortion as clearly stated on any abortion pamplet
Damage to the Cervix - The cervix may be cut, torn, or damaged by abortion instruments. This can cause excessive bleeding that requires surgical repair.
Scarring of the Uterine Lining – Suction tubing, curettes, and other abortion instruments may cause permanent scarring of the uterine lining.
Perforation of the Uterus - The uterus may be punctured or torn by abortion instruments. The risk of this complication increases with the length of the pregnancy. If this occurs, major surgery may be required, including removal of the uterus (known as a hysterectomy).
Damage to Internal Organs - When the uterus is punctured or torn, there is also a risk that damage will occur to nearby organs such as the bowel and bladder.
There are more but I don't care enough to type them it was up to you to think about and weigh

most likely only if was a botched abortion, or if you had alot of complications from it. I suffered from secondary infertility with my second, that could be it....keep in mind that it takes on average 6 months for a healthy couple to conceive, and they don;t really start doing tests to check for infertility related problems until after a year, generally.
Most of the fanatical pro life camp will have you believe that any abortion totally screws you up reproductively and will offer websites to prove their point. Take these comments with a grain of salt and consult your ob.
