Has anyone heard any thing about impeachment?

I heard on Air America we are getting closer to start impeachment process.

Come on Guys..I listen to Air America and even FOX who is so FULL of facts...LOL.
I am just asking. ( wishing also) Can any one ask a question with out being called names. Did I hit a nerve???

I think Bush will go down in history as a very bad man. He is now Visiting Latin America and is being booed by throngs of protesters. This reflect the crap that's been handed to them has hurt a lot. What crimes is Bush contemplating for the now? He is also showing signs of particular interest in Cuba. Leave people alone for God's sake! I don't think he will be impeached but he should go down for criminal acts in his war.

I am afraid that you are the victim of wishful thinking. In order for Bush to be impeached, two things are required.

First, you need concrete evidence of "high crimes and misdemeanors". That is "concrete evidence". Not allegations, not conspiracy theories, and not payback for Clinton.

Second, you need votes...first in the House for impeachment...and then in the Senate for ouster. While the Dem's could probably muster the votes in the House. The Senate is another matter entirely. They can't even get an "non-binding resolution" passed!

As the Dem's fall woefully short in both areas, impeachment is little more than another liberal pipe dream.

It was probably just one of Air America's commentators blowing off steam. Congressional Democrats haven't even limited funding for the war, much less tried to throw the President out of office.
