Life without purpose is meaningless.
Material gain will never satisfy anybody.
Some purpose is attained through relationship. A great family life where you are a tight knit family loved and loving.

But I believe that in itself it is not complete. It is completed through a transcendent cause. You must fill the hole in your heart with something bigger than yourself.

Everything in life has its own value. I believe that things are based on our perceptions on one side and influences of others on other, so it's mostly individual judgment to find what is the value of events in life, feelings etc. Significance of life is our own thing. However, life itself is priceless, everyone has it, there is no one who's life has more value than another ones. At least I think so. ;)

Seriously Life's value to me is best a personal question, it's not what is the value of life as much as what gives your life value

To follow your bliss. When you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been waiting for you all the while. And, the life you are living - is the life you ought to be living. - Joseph Campbell.
