Ive gone into Internet Options and have tried to change my home page there. I have also clicked on the arrow next to the home icon but neither works. Obviously there is another way....please help

you have a browser hijacker. install some adware and spyware removal tools.
i suggest using lavasofts ad-aware
and spybot s&d
while your at it go for grisofts avg if you dont have it.
also try getting hijackthis and removing anything that is a BHO (browser helper object)

Under tools - internet options - the first tab at the top - you can type in whatever page you want (yahoo) or if you're on Yahoo and go into the tools tab you can hit the button that says "use current page".

All you have to do is go to your yahoo page and in the upper right hand corner of the page, it should say Make Yahoo Your Home Page, just click that and it should work.

open IE, go to www.yahoo.com, then go to tools, click on internet options, on general tab, right below where it says address, there are 3 buttons, click on USE DEFAULT buttons, then click on apply then OK..
close IE and try if it works
