My last period was 1/31 and my next was due 2/28. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came up negative, but that happened when I was pregnant with my son. According to charts, I was supposed to ovulate on 2/14. I had light bleeding 2/15-2/17.(Could that be ovulation bleeding and I ovulated late?) My periods are very regular: 28-day cycle. I did not bleed since those dates, does implantation bleeding have to occur?? I have some symptoms, I feel sick, tired, gassy...also I felt like I was going to have my period all week and nothing happened. It feels like I'm bleeding but nothing's there. Is that normal? Are there any other symptoms besides the obvious nausea and fatigue? Also, I do not have breast tenderness or darknened areolas(Do you have to have these symptoms in early pregnancy?) I did not have sex between my last period and 2/15...my husband and I were not getting along, but we did have sex 2/15 and so on.

Light bleeding that occured between 2/15 and 2/17 is probably ovulation bleeding. It does not happen in all women, but it is fairly common. Also, certain stresses in your life can prolong your ovulation time. That's just your body's way of saying "Hey, I know you're stressed. Let me wait a few days to start this." You mentioned you were fighting with your husband or not getting along. Charts are not always correct, but they do give you a good guesstimate. They don't consider in stresses and prolonged ovulation. Also, if your ovulation is prolonged, you will have a longer cycle than what you are used to. If you are charting (and it sounds like you are) see if your basal body temp has stayed up. If it has, and hasn't gone down, then you are pregnant. You don't even need to take a test. As far as people's symptoms, they differ. Some people will be gassy, have nausea/vomiting, and fatigue. Others will say they noticed their sense of smell is heightened, their boobies hurt, or they have to urinate more than usual. It varies with each woman. I would recommend waiting 3 more days. If your period hasn't come, try an early pregnancy test and go from there, or check your chart. Blood work will give you definate results too.

You are still fertile one day after ovulation...not sure what the light bleeding was however implantation occurs around 6-12 days after fertilization...it may be too soon to be having alot of symptoms...and no not everyone has implantation bleeding and not everyone has pregnancy symptoms either...My 4th pregnancy I had not one symptom...It was wonderful lol...but the symptoms you do have are either pms or pregnancy, they are very similar....wait a few days and if no period take another test! Good Luck!
