My daughter, Mikaila, started teething at 3 months and had 4 teeth by the time she was 4 months old... She's been really advanced also. Crawled at 5 months, walked at 8 months, and understands instructions at 15 months (now)....
You just have a special baby!

You sound like a first time mother. So I'll assume this is your first 'baby first year' experiences. Yes babys can teeth early or late or whenever the teeth want to pop up. But, please stop for a minute. Are you feeling little teeth coming through or are you confusing a hungry baby stuffing her hand in her mouth as teething. Three months is when babies get restless for tastes of what they smell cooking, and they may be cranky and hungry at meal time for the family, even though they can't handle the family food. Has she gotten her first immunization shots? These can cause a fussy baby. Its time for keeping a close watch on oral health. Look in there and see if there are any white spots that are not teeth. White spots could be a problem called thrush. If your Cassie is going through a normal teething, congratulations. Now with new teeth, you'll have to watch those nipples closely so she don't get pieces of rubber in her esophagus. It feels so good to bite on the cool juice time nipples. Please let us know how baby Cassie is doing. (hugs)

My little girl is the same way, she started everything early and got her first two teeth at 3 months also. She's now 6 months old and getting more teeth. It's not THAT uncommon, but it's funny the comments I get on my daughter all the time about how highly advanced she is :)

My kids both began teething at an early age and my best friends son had several teeth by the time he was six months old. I think this is what is going to be normal for your child. If she is in pain, rather than giving her Tylenol or Motrin try Hylands Teething tablets. They are homeopathic (all natural) and work wonderful. They are very tiny and dissolve on contact with any amount of moisture so you do not have to worry about her choking. They can be found in the infant or baby section of most stores like Wal-mart.

My son starting teething from 2 months and cut his first tooth at 3 months. He has nearly a full set at 15 months. Some babies are born with teeth so it is not uncommon.

Ummmm.. No, this is not uncommon.. As a matter of fact that's the normal time frame for teething.. Both of my kids had their first two bottom teeth at 3 1/2 mths.. Every child is different, but it's definitely not uncommon to start teething at 3 mths.. Good luck to you

No, it's not uncommon and it doesn't mean she is advanced either. Some kids teeth earlier then others. My 12 year old had 2 teeth erupted by 10 weeks old and was teething at 7 weeks old.

Not uncommon my daughter started teething at 2 1/2 mo. Although rare there are cases of babies being born with teeth. Now at 6mo my daughter has 3 teeth partially up.

It isn't "rare"...it is not unheard of...it happens fairly regularly...while it is true that most first teeth pop up between 5 and 7 months old, there is nothing wrong or advanced with your child if she gets her first teeth in at 3 months, or if she were to have gotten them in at 9 months. Babies develop at different rates...some walk when they are 9 months old...some wait until they are closer to a year and a half...some babies are born with a head full of hair, some are as bald as anyone's great-uncle "Waldo"...
Unless she is bleeding profusely, or pops a mouth full of teeth over night, she is just fine...your baby is perfectly normal...

Your baby can get their teeth at any time. It is not uncommon for them to be born with a tooth or two.
Don't worry my 3 mth old is the same. He was a big baby at birth.
