It differs with each person and each pregnancy. If you are starting to show now, chances are you'll need your maternity gear soon - it tends to happen rather quickly after the first little bump shows!
I was about 4 and a half months before I started to show with my first, but I was into maternity wear by 15 weeks with my second!
It will happen soon enough, and you'll be fed up of it when you're too big to put your own socks on - lol!!
Enjoy and congrats!

Well I am also 4 months pregnant with my first. I started showing about 2 weeks ago. Its not too much, but just enough that my pants started not fitting and my belly poked a little out of my shirts. I'm the sure the big "pop" won't happen for a while still. :) good luck!

I was 5 months along before I found out I was pregnant. I took the test, found out I was pregnant but wasnt' showing per se. The next morning I woke up and "POP" there was this huge belly! Later that day is when I found out exactly how far along I was. It was like my daughter said "No sense in hiding now, they know I'm here!"
Funny thing though, I waited and waited for my belly button to pop out and it never did. But my belly sure grew fast!
Good Luck and congrats!! ;)

Im ALMOST 3 months..not even there yet...and I look like Im 5 months pregnant. Not so much in the morning but as soon as I eat it pops out and continues to do so during the day. By evening im huge lol. This is my 3rd child though so maybe that has something to do with it. Dont worry, itll pop out soon enough and youll be wondering when your waistline is coming back :) Congrats to you and good luck!

Because of my body build and the way the baby sits, I didnt even show a little till I was 7 months, then i just got a bump... though now you can totally tell but only cause i am a week away from delivery. Its still only looks like Im early in the pregnancy. I get the most astonished looks when people ask me when the baby is due. I tell them next week... there jaws drop. My friend whos due in May is 4 times bigger than me she is already having walking and sitting problems. Poor Poor girl.

Fortunate for me as i had wanted a big belly i never had real nausea i ate verything(but chicken and chinese) i started showing at two months along and that was my sing that i was pregnant. Because i had never weighed over 120 my whole life. But wanting such a big belly made me weight 200 pounds by the time i gave birth to my son. He will be one in three weeks however and now i weigh 125.

I think it all depends on body type and how the baby is positioned. I didn't really "show" until my sixth month with either of my pregnancy, but my son was in a position that I just looked a bit thicker, and my daughter was small and towards the back. So, it was a bummer for me not having that bump.
Congratulations on the baby and here's hoping you "pop" out soon!

Im 5'4" and usually about 120-125 lbs. With my first, I was a good 4 1/2-5 months before anyone noticed my tummy growing. This time around, I started showing at 3 months.

I started to show at around the end of the 4th month, begining of the 5th. Your belly doesn't really "pop" out. lol. It kinda grows gradually.
Just wait untill you can't see your feet anymore. Thats always fun. lol.
