I think most couples go through periods where physically there is not much going on - things might even seem dull. Those are the periods when you have a chance to shine. What do you do?? How do you behave??? Do you seek outside sex or do you stay committed in good times and bad.

Those answers really tell you what kind of a person you are....

Personally I have a 16 year relationship with the man I love. I would not do ANYTHING to hurt his heart intentionally. Oh that is not to say I don't flirt - I have ALWAYS flirted with guys, that is just my nature.

I love my husband through good times and bad, in sickness and health, until death do us part.

We may not be legally married but you won't find very many guys more devoted to their vows than we are to ours.

I would have a long serious talk with my mate. 10 years is to long to just waste, and throw out. Talk to your mate, communication is the key. Maybe you two can come up w/ ideas on to put the spice back in your life. Flirting is ok, as long as you both know it's just flirting and not a come on over here thing. Maybe a little vacation is what you guys need, a romantic get away, where you can fall in love again, then the sex will be great er. Hope everything works out for your best!

You've fallen victim to that thing called a rut. You've been together 10 years. He thinks he knows everything about you and you think the same about him. Shock him. Do something that he would never expect for you to do. Put the spice back in your relationship. But above all, talk to him. I was married for 23 years. Through good times and bad, we could always talk. The only reason that my marriage ended was that I finally came out of the closet. Now, she's my best friend in the world.

I guess it depends on the flirting.....if its innocent or serious. My lover and I have been together for over eleven years, and we each indulge in some innocent flirting......but the difference is we know who we are going home with at night, and we love one another. Sex of course is not as frequent, but its not all about the sex.

you list 3 alternatives; ignore it, "play" with someone else, or end the relationship. the 1st says your big enough to accept some innocent flirting, if it is indeed innocent and your partner is merely exploring new horizons. 2nd one says you're looking for some kind of justification, or worse, a kind of spite. 3rd one says, to me, you're not truly communicating with your partner on any real level.

YOU have to make a choice! what do YOU want??

There is nothing wrong with flirting, just as long as it doesn't go to far. Sounds like you two need to go out to dinner, just the two of you, and talk about things. its the only way things will be resolved and eventually get better.

Sounds like you need something to re-kindle the relationship... (surprises, trips, dates)

It happened to me after 4 years. My honest opinion is to just be honest. Its alot better than lying to you or you partner. It's alot less painful in the end

If we were neither of us interested in investing time working on our relationship where's the relationship?

I'd call time.
