Of those three it difficult to pick just one as the best singer. In fact if you americans get it right this year, those should be the final three. Love y'all but every year, you let me down- coming up to final four you vote out one of my favourites.
If you look at perfomance ability as well as singing, Melinda should win.
But I acknowledge that image wise those three have trouble competing with other contestants.

Lakisha is the best. MD is really good but has a lisp (so does Chris Sligh) and I am not sure how professional singers can work around that.
