I am not a liberal but I believe that Gays and Lesbians have Rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Marriage is one of them.
Unfortunatelly for you, you can't marry your goat because your goat must be able to express it's wish to marry you. As far as I know, there are not Goat Language Interpreters working at any County Court House.

Are we talking about marriage, or sex here?? Often I think people conflate those ideas. I believe that marriage should be for family protection and since obviously if you adopt kids and you and your goat split, your goat is not going to go through trama if you get the kids. Since your goat ostensibly can't talk to doctors in order to make critical life descisions about saving your life, I think that point is moot too. If you die, your goat can still inherit your house...
If you are speaking about sex, I believe that in all cases sex should be consensual. Consent includes understanding of possible future consequences of sexual activities and the ability to clearly communicate an understanding of this and ability to clearly communicate consent. I do not believe that a goat can do this. I do not support huma sex with animals because I do not believe that animals can clearly give their consent to sex with humans.
I feel that this question was obtuse and a false analogy of human to human and human to animal relations. I feel that if your reasoning is this base, that your critical reasoning skills could use a little brush up and I'm afraid of the lack of contribution you are making to further your own intelligent awareness of society, yourself, and other human beings...

Is this an intelligent attempt at a debate? I mean seriously come on you have to at least have some common sense when you ask questions. Marry a goat? That is so silly. Honestly what grade are you in now? Is this a class project because in my opinion you have failed!
