Getting around school filtering systems is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers. Use the school computers for school work, and your personal e-mail, IM'ing and myspace will be there waiting for you when you get home.

The whole point is that the school blocked it because they are trying to stop the kids from going to sites that are not required for their education and schoolwork.
So what you are asking is how can I outsmart the IT staff at my school so I can use a service that the school does not want me to use?
The best way is to become really smart by paying attention in school, learning more than they know and then you will be able to figure out how to do it.

I never get tired of saying this, You, Yes.. You are in school for a REASON and that is to LEARN, Not by goofing off on websites that are blocked for a reason. Also if you get caught going around the blocks you can and will get in trouble for it.

Some routers have the function of blocking websites, I saw this feature in Neatgear.

why don't you actually just listen in school and do your personal junk after hours. Think of all the homework you wouldn't have if you did it while in school instead of being on myspace of all places.
they block it for a reason.....and every time you kids come up w/ a new way around it....we adults are just gonna update it so you can't. so why waste your time and life going around in circles?

Some schools IT guys are better than others. They basically wanted to block it and make sure its blocked, so unless you have an admin password, your going to have to wait til you get home.

there are a lot of proxy sites i don't think school got them all. but if school got them all. try different search engines like dogpile firefox. and look up search engines and try them out. you will find something that works for the moment! but if school got them all which i don't think they well, then there is really no way to get around schools system.

have you not heard of the number of kids who've been raped or molested by the perverts on myspace? that's why your school banned it! you should focus on more important things like your EDUCATION!
