if all else fails you try making a paste of baking soda and water and scrubbing the pot. This really should work. You may have to do it twice, but the burnt oil should come up for you.

Soak pots and pans overnight in water with a fabric softener sheet. Then just wipe with a soapy sponge or dishcloth.This works for any hard to remove residue or baked on grime.

Take a potato and cut it in half. Take one half of the potato and apply dish soad to the pan and rub the patato on the pan, it will great rid of rust, burnt foods, oils and dirt.

put warm water into your pot, not boiling water.then add a big tablespoon of baking powder, leave to soak for 1 hr more if you think it need, then wash with your own washing up liquid, this will remove the stain

Use vinegar! Suficient to cover the stain inside the pan, and put it on the fire of the stove. Let it boil and wait, about half and hour; then wash it as usual.

If you are sure they are aluminum, get rid of them, for your health and your family do not use aluminum, if they are steel then the other advise given is good advise.

spray on oven cleaner then cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for 2-3 hours then clean with steel whool.
