i have downloaded a game through tomato torrent, it's 100% finished and and i want to play it - how do i do this? do i need software and if so what? thanks x

Ah that's a complex question...
It depends on the format that it is in... it may be a bunch of rar files? the filenames end with .rar or .r01? You need winRAR to unpack those... just search winrar and install it and open the lowest one, extract it somewhere, and then...
You might have a .iso file, which is the CD of the game, you can burn that to a CD or use something like Daemon tools to "mount" the iso and never burn it but trick it into thinking it's been burned.
If it's not an .iso, look for a setup.exe or an install.exe in the path you unzipped it to.

If its rar. file there maybe more then one , only extract the first one. Right click and extract here then the files will be in the fold the rar. is . Then look for the exe. . If its a xbox or ps ect. game you will have to extract then burn the iso with Nero or similar iso image burner.

most likely you are going to need the latest version of daemon tools.
you will use daemon tools to mount the images.
you could also burn the game to disk.
to do that use either nero or alcohol 120
