First, Kobe shouldn't win it because any team that goes on a 5-6 game skid in the middle of the season doesn't have an MVP on their team. Second, I think that Nash should win it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Dirk win the MVP either. While I think that if you take either player away from their team, they won't be nearly as good with them, you take Nash away and they still have 2 other all stars on the team. Many people would think that this is cause for making Nash look so good, however, when Nash was injured, these 2 all-stars couldn't put together a winning record. This tells me 2 things...that Nash has made Marion and Stoudamire all-stars, and that Nash is far and away the best team basketball player in the NBA. The fact the Nash is so critical to the success of a team that already has 2 other all-stars means that he should be the MVP

I would say that Kobe Bryant could win it but it is starting to look like a Steve Nash 3-peat because he is playing even better than the last 2 years but he needs to get back on the court from these injuries he always gets around this time of the year.

It depends on who does the voting. Yao Ming made the allstar team without playing.

One thing going against Dirk is that he is playing on a well rounded team. A one man show may stand out better league wide. I think he deserves it but I don't have a vote.

I'm a big Kobe fan but I think Nowitzki deserves MVP this time, he's piling up win streaks after win streaks. They'll sure end up with 65+ wins this year for sure.
