she's my best friend since 5th grade and now we're in 8th grade and she told me "sex is overrated". she's really hot and everything but she has a boyfriend. we got into this discussion when she said this after i asked her how things were going with her bf

She probably said that because you girls are still young & sex isn't enjoyable for women the first few times. Honestly sex is uncomfortable, sometimes painful & just awkward the first few times. When two people both have sex with each other for the first time it's gonna seem like, oh that was it? Two people who dont' know what they're doing aren't really going to have fun until they've had some practice. Sure sex seems like it's overrated at first but once you're older & in your sexual prime you'll understand.

Wow this just shows you have far a part our generations are....Makes me a little sad and scares me too.
