If your best friend was really close friends with your ex-boyfriend, would it be hard for you to accept? (especially if you were NOT on good terms with the ex) And if she reached out to make friends with your ex-boyfriend's cyber "friend" that he had phone sex with (while you were dating), would that upset you enough to confront your best friend and break off the friendship?
P.S. - The best friend KNOWS how you feel about her closeness to these 2 people and that it bothers you.

Yes, that would bother me. It would be one thing if she and your ex had been friends for a long time....then I could see her continuing a friendship with him. But going so far as to befriend the cyber cheater is just too much. Maybe you should be careful with her and not spend as much time with her as your other friends. You should be able to trust a real friend to stand by you through thick and thin. She's let you down!

I lost a best friend over similar circumstances several years ago. Let me tell you - it's not worth losing a best friend over. We are now friends again, and both realize that our friendship was too important to let stuff like that come between us. Accept your friend for who she is - not who you want her to be/ associate with.
If it is a true friendship it will survive this. Just always keep the lines of communication open.
