One day in London...?

I am going to spent one day in London. waht can I do? what should I do to get the bet of the city in one day??

West End for a musical!!

There's tons to do! Take a tour that will take you to the top attractions!

I was in London for a day and a half but had no sleep prior to getting there and when everyone went to the musical Les Miserables, I stayed in my hotel room to catch some ZZZ's. I still regret it to this day! I should have stayed with the group! I heard musicals are cool even if you aren't in to them

Definately get up early and buy tickets for a tour bus (20-30 pounds or so). Make sure it's one that lets you get on and off at the different attractions throughout the day and that has a commentary too so you hear about what your seeing. I think they run till 6 or 7 at nite. Then go to the theater district to catch a play. Buy the tix for the play early in the morning from either the box office or better yet the discounted tix booth in Picadilly Circus(?). Unsold play tix. go onsale (big discount) early AM for shows that nite.
