Without a doubt the worst remake I have seen is the 1998 remake of Psycho...it's the most appalling trash I've ever seen.

Alfie and Sabrina, both original and remake bored me to death. I just hope no one will do a remake of breakfast at tiffanies or I'll just shoot my brains out with boredom. If the first one is boring, don't make the remake as boring as well.

has to be Get Carter with Sly Stallone. not just because it was a poor remake. it was so bad people will think the original must be rubbish aswell, which its not. its brilliant.
also, war of the worlds. a classic ruined by Tom Cruise

The Omen and Physco were two of the most pointless, rubbish remakes ever! They were pretty much scene for scene, word for word - why mess with such classics!
Another one was the Wicker Man - WHY!

Vanilla Sky is so bad I've never seen it! Also agree on Get Carter and Alfie - terrible films.
