its take the bigger person to walk away , only time you have to fight is in a boxing ring or when they go to hit you 1st if self defense go a head kick the hell out ! otherwise just stay clear and stand tall

Dude, try to avoid it. I should know because I live in a city where the gang violence is high. The best thing to do is walk away. Just ignore there comments if you guys choose not to fight. You guys ain't pu*****; you guys are being resonable. Now, if they are being a disturbance to you, call the police and see if they can put a restraining order (which I doubt).
Now, if they make the first strike, attack back. Common sense; you must protect yourselves. It's called self defense. Trust me, some gangs tend to attack you from behind with out any notice. Most are cowards, believe me. I was about to get a rumble with some new-comer gang in my city. But we somehow avoid it.
Sometimes we must take care of our own, man. Sometimes the police won't help. Some don't even give a fu***** damn. And it all depends what ethnicity you're from. Color plays a roll in Cali. And this is unjust. So, I'm just throwing this to you just incase the police force won't help. Sometimes we must be alone on this and protect ourselves. BUT , I still encourage you guys to avoid such conflict to avoid death (depending who are you guys messing with). So think with your head up there. Be smart. Take care dude and Good Luck! Peace!

Fighting never really solves anything. Defending yourself is one thing, but purposely going out and looking for a fight is quite another. The problem is that once the fight gets started, it doesn't end with one side winning the battle. The defeated side always holds a grudge and will eventually come back to attempt to "square" things. You are actually, and truely better off avoiding said gang and if they do attack you, take the beating and stand your ground.

I don't know about todays gangs. But, when I was young I was approached to join. My being latin they assusmed I'd be all into it. Wrong, I simple looked her in her eyes and said, no! She said that I would make alot of friends. I didn't need friends like that. She then said that she and her gang would beat me up. I said, again looking her straight in her eyes, you do what you think you have to do, but I will not join. She all of a sudden started telling me that she liked me and that I was cool............whatever, but todays gang mentallity, I don't know. They don't fight fare and it's different for guys. I'm sorry, but I think you should call the police or tell your parents (assuming that your still in school) they are totally gutless so be careful.

If violence can be avoided, do so. If not then when the time comes and there is no more avoiding them, try and set the stage a have a video recording device nearby and operable.

never fight agains a gang ......they will come back for you..just keep yourselves away from them and well proctection ....from what? dont do anything bad and nobody will want to hurt you

DON'T GET INVOLVED EVEN IF YOUR FRIENDS DO.
