When I read the first part I was like "Oh YEAH!!". . . . then I read the rest. . . . . . OK. I am a little confused about the "get even" part. Get even for what being annoying? For just not being your cup of tea. He must not be that big of a jerk. . .cause you went out with him. OK. Well the short answer to your question is no. As for the rest, how you spend your free time is your choice but maybe you should find someone who rubs you the right way.

Of course. Over a lifetime one does meet people whofor some reason or other might rub you the wrong way. Whether it is people with whom you are obligated to work or interact in any way, there will always be such people but the trick in life is to learn how to either manage such relationships or learn to avoid them as much as possible.
I don't understand the motivation for going out with someone who rubs you the wrong way in order to "get even". Why would you put yourself and others through such a negative process? And, even if I felt I had "nothing better to do" which is highly unlikely, I can't see resorting to going out with someone I find objectionable.

I've definitely met people who rub me the wrong way from the minute we met. But I wouldn't spend my time with someone like that. I'd rather sit at home alone than to spend any time with a person that rubs me the wrong way.

regrettably you're incorrect! I won't argue the component with you because of the fact based off a number of your different solutions, i might have a extra useful & extra in-intensity communique with a tree. You ask somebody in the event that they have ever met somebody, & then you definately answer them. That tells me you the two have the potential to be sure all human beings's strategies or you're in basic terms an immature & ignorant individual lacking any awareness of the diatribe you generate.

No - I have very occasionally met people whom I've instinctively disliked very much. There has always turned out to be a very good reason for that dislike, since I usually get along well with most people. When I find myself immediately antagonised by someone there's a reason and I avoid that person no matter what.

That's not exactly indicative of a healthy mind.
The term for the person who goes out with somebody because they have nothing better to do is "professional dater". Professional daters will date people they aren't interested in... because they have low self-esteem and don't respect others. They are a type of User: they use others for entertainment because they fear their own lives are empty and meaningless.
Doing it to get even: this is manipulative and deceptive. A passive agressive personality. Some sort of personality disorder at work most likely.
More fun with mental illness?

Can't say I have ever gone out with anyone who rubbed me the wrong way. I guess I was just smarter than that. Thank you.

That happens to all my dates- I usually get lucky once in a while, and get to spend the night. then I'm out the door.
