I got a haircut recently and look like Pee-Wee Herman. I wanna wear a hat to the office now to save me from looking like a fool. What kind of hats are acceptable in the office?

Tough question...

I'd steer clear of all baseball caps, or anything too casual.

But in general, if you are a guy, wearing a hat at work is not acceptable if you are in a formal business environment. You basically need to take it off once you get in the office and sit down, or you look as though you're being subordinate. If you really MUST wear a cap, wear a fedora or something more structured and classic (think Cary Grant), rather than sloppy (baseball).

If you're in a more casual office, you could get away with a very thin, tight skull cap (like a ski cap), again, avoiding baseball caps.

But as a general rule.. hats are not really allowed for guys. Only for girls.. I know, double standard.
