Could anyone tell me the names of all the presidents that were incapable of retaining office because they were killed or something, and their Vice presidents that took over when they left.

I would just add that four of our presidents were assassinated, and all the others died in office of other causes - except Nixon, the only president to resign.
The 25th Amendment to the Constitution revises the procedures for what happens when a president or vice president dies or cannot serve - this was passed after Kennedy was killed.

and why is it when someone murders someone they dont call that they assasinated someone?
