it is more purple - it is cos i like artistic types - and i got too close to the paint pot - i was looking for the honey pot

It isn't, it's a see through greyish colour. The pink you see is your blood beneath the skins surface.

It is pinkish-white if you are a member of various races simply because we lack the amount of a substance called melanin(sp?) that is more abundant in the skin of other races of the world.
