I'm currently 5 dpo and I'm just wondering what I can do to keep myself distracted until I can test? What are things that other people have done? I don't really work full time hours so I'm bored and everything. I'm watching my symptoms (so far none) but I still have a number of days before I can test. I've thought about baby names, read a whole Pregnancy Encyclopedia, and I'm just bored (and excited too). Any suggestions?

I'm in the 2 week wait, too. I work and it's still so hard to keep my mind off. I've had some symptoms but I kinda had similar ones last month...I'm really trying to ignore them so that I don't get my hopes up. The best thing to do is NOT read up on baby stuff. Find tasks to do around the house. Think of a long project that you can do like redecorating a room so that it keeps your mind a little busy for a longer period of time. Go out with some girlfriends. I know it's hard...BELIEVE ME! But if you can get your mind of things for even a few hours a day it helps. I wish you all the best!

Hey have you been on twoweekwait.com? There are lots of other people stuck in the two week wait that are there. We just chat to eachother about things that are going on, any symptoms and stuff like that. It really does help the time go by! I've just finished my 2 week wait yesterday. Unfortunately, AF appeared, the ugly witch! So now i'm back waiting to O again!

Don't worry at 5dpo you won't have any symptoms because if you did manage to catch the little eggie this cycle, it will not implant until about 6-10 dpo! And after then you may get symptoms.

This is the link to where I post:

Im in the 2ww also and I am 8 dpo, but dont think I consieved this month, I guess im just not getting my hopes up because im tired of getting negative prego tests, but I guess I will just wait and see if AF comes and hopfully she wont. I go to this website twoweekwait.com and you can read other peoples stories in their 2ww. It is really helpful. Good Luck!!

Is this a donor egg IVF? or with your own eggs?
If it's de, you can join us on our message board. We've got a few others in their 2ww right now too. It could be fun and a little distracting to talk to some cycle buddies. :)

Otherwise, maybe a trip to the local video store would be good. Stock up on some good comedies and take it easy! let those little embies snuggle in!

may be you could go exercising or shopping (or at least window shopping). Or find another hobby that will take most of your time so you don't think much about it. I'm waiting also and i just try not to think about it everyday, but it hasn't been working =). But i go to the gym just to ease my mind. Or you can rent some movies. Anyway, good luck and lots of baby dust to all of us who are in tww. =)
