my car works great, but the red plastic cover over my blinker is broken. they don't make them anymore, and i can't find one in a junkyard. does anybody know if that red plastic tape is a legal fix? i have a fix-it ticket and don't know what else to do!!!

They used to sell repair kits that used two part epoxy that was colored yellow and red at auto parts places.

If you have a fix-it ticket - then No tape won't work. Use the internet to find the part.

Take your car to a mechanic or certified inspection station (If your state has those). They will know what's legal. We can't help you at all since we don't know where you live.

check with the dmv or maybe a mechanic who knows about thi stuff
