Because Jennifer Hudson is a better singer by far. Fantasia sounds like Donald Duck on crack. She also looks like a hoe now. I think Americans who voted for Fantasia felt sorry for her. We all knew Jennifer would make it big no matter what. I would vote for a tone deaf cow before Fantasia.

Fantasia sucks and looks like a frog. Jennifer Hudson is a lot classier and has a better voice. I still don't understand why Fantasia won that year.

Because Dream Girls wasn't being created when Fantasia won - do u think? Not to mention that the media wasn't hyping up Fantasia. The media can make or break a career.

Because she landed a very good role in dreamgirls and showed the world what she's made of and wowed everyone. Aside, Jennifer won best supporting actress in several different award giving body. However, Fantasia also sold millions of album, so both are popular in their own way.

Lets face it Fantasia is not all that good. She performed well on the show.. thats it. Jennifer Hudson rocks! She out sung Beyonce on DreamGirls and that says A LOT!!!

Jennifer Hudson is more talented.
They were on two differenst seasons of AI, but yes, Hudson has a better attitude and better personaltiy.

Jennifer and Fantasia WERE both on the same season along with LaToya London. I think they're both talented. It is just Jennifer's time to shine.

We could ask the same thing of Clay and Ruben. It isn't whether you win or not, it's what you do with what you have that counts. I think these boys made that obvious and maybe the Fantasia/Jennifer fiasco is proving the same to be true.

I personally can not stand Fantasia, she was the wrong choice for American Idol. Her attitude STINKS.
