I am an archaeologist and I excavated a site at Earith a few years ago. As far as I know there is Neolithic, Bronze Age and Roman archaeology around Earith. Go to http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/catalogue/ and search for Earith. There is also a report available to download from Cambridge Archaeological Unit at http://www-cau.arch.cam.ac.uk/publicationsdownloads.htm . Or on google you can do a search for 'Earith archaeology' and that brings up some websites. If you want to find out more about the archaeology of Earith try going to the Historic Environment Record in Cambridge http://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/leisure/archaeology/historic/record/

Shame on you, surely every school child in Cambs knows about the Cambridgshire Collection at Lion Yard Library?
Or is this a trick question and did Earith used to be in Huntingdonshire?
