am I doing something wrong here? I'm trying to download last nights episode of Lost and it is downloading but it is saying 90 minutes to go? I bought the 30GB apple ipod and have a DSL connection. Whats up?

interesting, this sucks. Not sure about te USB I'm downloading it from itunes on verizon DSL. I hope its not always like this

It doesnt sound that out of line. If the file your downloading is 400mb, it will take approx 70 minutes on a 768k dls line. Remember, a tv show will be a whole lot larger than a music file that you download. I have never downloaded a tv show, but according to http://tv.org/faq.php, a 120 minute movie is 800 mb, so i assume a 60 minute tv show would be 400 mb. Of course, if the tv show file is bigger, it will take more time. And conversly, if you dls is faster, it will take less time.

No, that's certainly not unusual at all. I've downloaded one before on a 512 kbps connection, and it took much longer than that. These video files range from 500-600 MB, whereas audio files range from 3-5 MB usually.

Your best bet is to just start it downloading late at night, and just leave it going all night, and you'll have it in the morning.

also if you google "mcafee internet speed test" you can find out how fast your dsl is going. but you i have cable internet a movie of about 2 hours take like 2 - 3 hours so your abotu right..... i think

where are you dling from?? could the host be on a slower connection?? if there are a lot of people dl'ing it can lag the hosts server - also are you using a high speed USB port that can slow it too if your not
