for the people who signed up to their "price protection" scheme
they have sent letters stating that prices willnot fall,
would it be cheaper to change to another supplier?

Serve them right for believing that :price protection: crap .
British gas put their prices up 50% and are dropping them 17%
big deal..

You should read the small print of those price protection plans ~ I wouldn't be surprised if they lock you in to a contract (I'm guessing) for at least 12 months.

British gas am getting to old for the game now all gas company's do is challenge each other into who gets the best ratings meaning no gas suppler will save you money for months to come
