Technically, the economy is fine as it is. But an economy is just a plan for the distribution of wealth; it doesn't have to be humane or caring or anything o' the sort. So, what we have here is an economy that may be doing fine, but, it certainly isn't helping the average Joe too much.

Therefore, as an abstract, the economy is doing fine. As what it should be, a great system to help the people of a great country, it needs a real kick in the head, as it were, or that's what I think. Just my two cents, though.

The economy is not mine, nor is it anyone's. It belongs to all of us. If you examine the facts, rather than conjecture on the issue, you will find that the economy is quite well. Interest rates are low. Unemployment is low. And, the stock market has had tremendous growth. The recent loss in the market will be corrected within a month, if not sooner. It was due to the international economy rather than the US economy.

Some of you people have absolutely no clue. The economy has been growing strong for 6 years.

Assuming we are entering a contraction (recession), it is simply a part of the economic cycle.

Can you remember a growth period in the past that didn't end in a contraction? What am I saying, you probably can't remember your middle name.

Read about it yourself. All the evidence is right in front of you; lower unemployment; shrinking deficit; lower taxes = more revenue; booming stock market. Can you not see it yourself?
