Because in Iran they know they would not have the liberty to voice their hate against their leader. They know they have it good here! And because it's easier to criticize and voice hatred than to work to improve the system, they'll continue. The majority of our electorate voted for Bush, and liberals just can't stand being in the minority. Pretty funny when the shoe's on the other foot, isn't it!

Dude, I'm not even going to pick on you for the typo. But your attitude only shows someone with a closed mind about politics, and because of it, I don't think anybody here is going to convince you of anything. So why even ask your question when you're not going to accept the answer?

Liberals don't move to Iran because we know that change is inevitable here, and we hope to see that change soon. Here are some of the things we're looking for:
* safety for our troops
* better wages for people with jobs
* no golden parachutes and tax breaks for the wealthy
* financial responsibility
* foreign policy that does not insult other countries
* protecting individuals' rights and freedoms

Now let's look at the Republican goals
* keeping our troops in harm's way
* better wages for people who are already living the high life
* tax breaks for billion dollar corporations and CEO's
* ballooning the national debt and the federal budget
* labeling countries as evil and thumbing our nose at the world community
* the Patriot Act, which gives Big Brother the unconstitutional right to sit in your living room and watch everything you say and do, without fear of legal consequences. It also removes your right to even get a trial, let alone a fair trial (also unconstitutional) if the government chooses to deny you.

Your party has screwed things up, and people are tired of it. Have fun in 2009 when you have no majority in either the house or senate, and nobody sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office.

They really don't matter anyway. Its a shame to see otherwise reasonable people so utterly irrational about something like politics. Read what you wrote or some of the other mindless comments made all over the place by both sides of the argument. A lot of it is petty name calling and the rest is pretty mindless follow the leader crap...from both sides.

Don't any of you realize what puppets you are? You are so busy hating each other and playing party games that you don't see the obvious right in front of your nose. It isn't the democrats or the republicans, it is the huge, uncaring mass of people that supposedly govern this country. They have you so distracted hating each other that you never notice that you are being robbed blind and oppressed by the government more and more every day, no matter who is in charge.

Interesting question ! (Liberalism) is a ***Mental Disorder*** Even if they moved to (IRAN) I seriously (Doubt) that they would even notice. By the way, alot of people ask when the U.S. Military will pull-out of (IRAQ) when in (FACT) the Military has built # 14 Military Bases in Iraq pointing towards (IRAN) & other Countries in the region as well. I doubt that the U.S. Military will pull-out any time soon because, the U.s. Military does not build something to be (Abanded) it,s *Objective/s... There is too much at stake & way too much ****OIL***** to refuse. It would be nice to see those (Scum Bags) ie. Liberals go to Iran because,the Liberals are the Party that is trying to (Destroy) the American middle class. Those Liberals are & have been way too out of touch with the American agenda/s. I seriously think that the American Tax Paying Citizen/s should ****Seriously**** re-consider ever haveing to (Support) there effort/s in endangering the American Values as a whole. Thank You for your interesting question. rumeoui !

Why aren't you serving in Iraq, super patriot? What an unamerican question you offer. A person has to agree with the president or leave the country? Did you feel the same way when Clinton was in office? Open your mind and learn about what it takes to be a REAL American, not a republican sheep.

Having the right to dislike our president and disagree with him is exercising our freedom of choice (remember what the "terrorists" hate us for "our freedom"). Liberals may hate the Bush regime, but they don't hate the U.S and I personally don't want to move to Iran because I like the freedom to express my concerns and dislikes and to demonstrate resistance to what is wrong, that is what makes me a liberal and a American...

Seriously, you're a moron. When you hated Clinton (as I assume you did), why didn't you move to China? People don't change countries because of the current president in power. In fact, that makes things worse--someone opposed to the current regime in a country like the U.S. should stay and agitate to change the system.

In fact, that's exactly what happened--people hated Bush, the Republican party, the Iraq war, and "politics as usual" so much that they voted across the country to remove Republicans from office in the last election.

Seriously GROW UP

People from either side of the political spectrum have always disliked people from the other side. It is called POLITICS.

Just disliking the President does not mean we want to leave the country

"It is MY COUNTRY right or wrong" and my forefathers fought and dies to give me the right to tell it when it is wrong

Seriously, you are the one who doesn't understand that dissent is a major factor in democracy. Freedom of speech is in the constitution, a document you seem to have no familiarity with. Since your ideas are closest to those of the Iranians, you should be the one to move.
