My friend has a Sky Broadband account. The connection is terrible and he is trying to get this fixed. He knows that the issue is with the noise on the line and he has had this confirmed. The problem is that Sky keep closing his issue as resolved, not returning calls and generally providing bad service.
Does anyone have any numbers he can use to call to escalate this complaint? The standard published numbers result in him getting staff who seem to do nothing but be obstructive.

Just to clarify. He is not allowed to contact BT directly as they have a relationship with Sky and will only deal with Sky. The problem is lack of updates from Sky and a belief that they may not even have contacted BT.
