I am 22 yrs old been on the pill for 5 years. I usually have tenderness in my breast when I am about to start but I had my period about 10 days ago. The hurt started about 2-3 days ago and my nipples are always hard now. But the gyno just switched my pills on me. So I think its either that or I am just pregnant. Help!

Hormones call different sensations in the breasts....Is there a possibility that you are pregnant???? The pill does mimic pregnancy in the body . It may be a side effect... Ask your MD..

Could you be pregnant??? Mine felt that way with each of my pregnancies. I had something similar to you. I switched from the depo shot to the pill and ended up having my third child. When in doubt either do a home test or call the doctor. Good luck to you.

You are probably adjusting to the different hormone levels in the new prescription. You are unlikely to be pregnant if you have taken the pills correctly. But if you have ANY reason to suspect that you are pregnant, take a test, or see the doctor sooner rather than later.

Your breasts may have grown a little bit, due to the change in hormones. You should go to a bra shop and have a professional fitting done. If your still the same size, tell them about the soreness, and see what they recommend.

Call your doc and ask what he recommends you do. If he wants you to wait this out or if he wants to see you in the office. Call and ask him.
