Not at all, now that I'm retired. But the big push on Team Work, I think, can cut down on quality, imagination, innovation, creativity in solving problems, etc. Of course, it can bring in a wider spectrum of info, ideas, solutions, possibilities--but I believe that the end decision must not be a compromise just to get concensus. Depends upon the group and the freedom they have.

I will not work at a job, even as a temp, if the ad says 'looking for team players.' I don't like being responsible for the work that others slack off on--and it has happened in the past. I also don't like other members of the 'team' taking over.

Now I prefer tending bar (for a private owner--not a corp.), delivering magazines to stores (alone), doing typing/transcription AT HOME (for an individual), or working a store shift alone.

In each and every single act u do in ya life team work plays a vital role. It shortens ya work, stress & most importantly it saves time.
