I have not gotten my period it is due tomorrow. I have had strange off and on cramps for a week and that is unusal for me. I took Clomid this month and I know that I release two eggs. I was wondering maybe only one got fertilized would I have a normal period and still be pregnant, if I released the other egg. I took two test the past two days and the second line is faint but clearly there. I want to be 100% sure before I call my doctor. I have been to there office every week for different test since I started Clomid.

yes you can still be on your period and take a test your period will not effect the test. If there are two lines on the HPT no matter what color they are at lest there are two you are pregnant. Congrats if you want to know for sure go to your Doctor.

Even if you get a very faint positive line on a home pregnancy test, you are still pregnant, as long as the line has color and the line developed within the timeframe given in the instructions. An evaporation line, however, has no color whatsoever and means you are not pregnant.

Yes, the line will get darker as the pregnancy progresses but it may take several weeks for the line to get really dark. The darkness of the line doens't mean much though. You are either pregnant or you are not!

Vaginal bleeding is not typical during pregnancy, but it can happen. It can also mean, however, that you are a) not pregnant or b) that you are having a miscarriage if you have cramping with it.

Regardless, vaginal bleeding will not affect the results of a pregnancy test. If you have hcg, the pregnancy hormone in your urine, it will show up on the test and the test will be positive (which means you are pregnant.)

Sometimes you may take a pregnancy test and the second line may be extremely light. The second line of a pregnancy test is activated by a pregnacy hormone. So if it appears at all, no matter how light, it usually means your pregnant, though some medications may also make the line appear. I have had three pregnancy's and the earlier I took the test the lighter the second line was. I suggest waiting about two days and taking another test, and if you are pregnant the hormone will be stronger and the second line will be darker. ( My husband and I couldn't wait a couple days to retest, so we went out and bought three different brand tests with our second child, to be sure before we called the Dr.) Also sometimes women may have their cycle well into their pregnancy. Some women even continue to have their cycle entire pregnancy. But if your ever unsure its always best to see your Dr. Good Luck to you!

I had 2 very light periods in the first trimester when I was pregnant with my first child. Bleeding does not mean you are definitely not pregnant!

They say you must always consider a pregnancy test positive if there is a line there, however light it is. So yes, try one again in a couple of days and it should be darker, but since there was a line, you are probably pregnant, although possibly only a few days to a week.

I hope everything goes OK!

If you got your period, you are not pregnant. If your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. If you got your period and wait until tomorrow to take the test, that is not going to change the fact that you are NOT PREGNANT. Come on now, are you joking or did I miss something here?
