We had to use it at school, no option, it was like tracing paper, and thats what we used it for,great tracing paper, not much good in the toilet department though, it didn't wipe your bum properly and your fingers went through it. Apparently they still sell it in Asda and Morrisons, if you're new to it why not go and try some, you'll be in for a treat.

Terrible stuff how they can call it toilet paper i,ll never know!used to have it in school loo,s, along with powdered soap that was like washing youre hands with sand.

Grew up with it and at the time wouldn't use anything else, thought that soft paper was the work of the devil - now I just think my mum was being cheap!

Yep, it's like wiping your ringpiece on a asbestos fire blanket.
